The latest of our recent spate of ocean-front projects, this complete deconstruction of a 2-story home in Marina Del Rey built in 1926, had an interesting mix of old and new. Here modular cabinetry and updated vinyl-framed dual-pane windows contrasted with lumber that showed the distinguished rough finish of a bygone era in building. Also donated were a large jacuzzi, professional-grade kitchen appliances and a nice Maytag washer/dryer set.
