Deconstruction & ReUse Network (DRN) received a donation of a 3 bedroom, 1 bath, 1404 sq. ft. home and 2 car garage. The homeowner wanted the whole house and garage deconstructed leaving a clean lot. After receiving several bids from DRN’s licensed and vetted contractors, the homeowner selected Mr. X Engineering to facilitate the deconstruction for the project. In the end, 11.2 tons of reusable building materials were diverted from the local landfill, sent to one of DRN’s non-profit partners to be reused and the homeowners received a tax deduction for their generosity – a WIN-WIN for all involved.
